The SSAT Committee needs members! The goal is to have a representative from each county, conference and/or district around the state. And this committee will also be starting a mentorship program for our new grads around the state!

ATLAS Ambassador for the State of MD

NATA and Korey Stringer Institute have multiple positions open to serve as a Secondary School ATLAS Ambassadors. This individual will represent the Athletic Training Locations and Services (ATLAS) project and provide grassroots connection efforts to their state athletic training network. The ambassadors will report updates and efforts to their NATA Secondary School Committee District Representative.

Please update your information in the Secondary School directory, link is below. We have had a lot of turnover in the last year and I want to make sure we have everyone's information correct. Please enter correct information or update your information and be sure to enter the date in the "Date Updated/Confirmed" column, once reviewed, I will verify in the "Verified'' column. If you know of any changes to the counties or medical providers please let me know.

KSI ATLAS SURVEY

 

Currently closed but should be reopening at the beginning of August.

The ATLAS Project conducted by the Korey Stringer Institute and the National Athletic Trainers' Association provides your state association leaders with valuable data to help inform and drive progress in your state and we look forward to continuing to provide this data; however we can't do this without your assistance.

ATLAS NEEDS YOUR HELP:

• First, confirm your school listing here on our state maps

• If listed as "No Survey or Needs Updating" this means we do not have a survey for your school or you need to retake the 2022-2023 academic year survey. We ask that take 5-10 minutes of your time to complete the ATLAS survey using this link .

  • Once the survey is taken, your school will be considered "Updated" for the next 2 years.

​

• If you are listed as "Updated" thank you, we are currently processing your request and please take a look at the surrounding schools in your league or region and help by reporting inaccuracies and encourage your fellow ATs to complete ATLAS for your state.

​

• If you have changed schools please email us to remove you from your old school and please indicate if your previous school still has AT services. We also ask that you take the survey for your new school.

​

• If you no longer work at a high school, please email us to remove you and please indicate the name of the school you worked at and the state.

​

• If you have taken the survey in the last few weeks but the information online has not changed, please do not retake the survey. We are processing your survey and the maps will be updated as soon as possible.
