MOST DISTINGUISHED ATHLETIC TRAINER AWARD
The MATA Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award is a prestigious honor that recognizes qualified MATA members for their exceptional and unique contributions to the athletic training profession. This is a state award, which reflects a lifetime of dedication to the Association and the field of athletic training on the state level through committee membership, office or leadership of the Association.
Eligibility: To be eligible for nomination, individuals must have 15 years certified membership in the MATA and have significant service at the state level. NATA and Maryland Hall of Fame members will not be considered for the Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award nor will NATA MDAT Award winners.
Nomination Procedures: Members who wish to nominate a deserving colleague should submit the following information by email to the MDAT Award Sub-Committee Chair Heather Kohlbus at heather.a.kohlbus@medstar.net
