About the MATA Hall of Fame
The purpose of the MATA Hall of Fame is to recognize distinguished members for their service to the State of Maryland and the profession of Athletic Training.
Nomination Procedures:
Eligibility:
- Have been a member of MATA for at least 10 years.
- Practiced athletic training or related profession for 25 years.
- Contributed significantly to the profession of athletic training through education (including oral presentations and written publications), community service, or service to the NATA or MATA.
- Approval by the selection committee.
- May apply more than one time.
- If inducted into the NATA Hall of Fame, will automatically be inducted to the MATA Hall of Fame (provided they meet criteria 1 above).
Application:
- Name and address
- Verification of years of service
- Essay explaining why the ATC should be chosen
- Three members of the MATA need to submit an essay.
